The JSFF will kick-off tomorrow, so make sure to attended one of its events. I am sure it’s going to be one the best film events this summer.

Comparison scene | Men Over the sun… Men under the sun
August 22nd, 2007
There are two men working in the same profession. One is living in the US and the other is in Jordan. The one in Jordan is standing on one of Al Weibdeh streets, wearing 10JD shoes. He looks in his pocket, count few coins and hopes that this money will be enough to get him home. He looks tiered and sweaty. He is so ignored.
The other one who live in the US is standing on a red carpet with $100000 suite, and $5000 hair cut. He is holding a hand of a beautiful lady who is wearing 1 million diamond nickels. He jumps to his lemo and disappear under the flash lights.
Both of them are actors!!!!!!

He is so amazing, creative and he has a very strong metaphors… the man is definitely the next king of Arab poets. really want to greet Abu Dahbi Channel for their great show “Ameer Al sho3ara2″. I hope other channels will take this show as an example of how you can produce quality content instead of copying American shows.
The king of 80’s
August 14th, 2007

I was sitting with Khalidah and we just remembered a Jordanian singer from the 80’s. That man who was singing in front of the Housing Bank Building and singing in loud voice notional and traditional Jordanian songs. We couldn’t remember his name at that moment. But Khalidah promised me that she will dig and look for his name.
Next day she send it to me. His name is Odeh Ziadat.
When you say 80’s, I always remember that singer. And I remember his songs “Mar3yah yal bint Mar3yah” “Shedo yal Nashamah”…
I wonder what happened to him… and what he is doing now. Is he alive?
The Kingdom | The American Rambo in Saudi Arabia
August 6th, 2007
A new typical Hollywood movie, the Kingdom is a movie about terrorist attacks happened in a compound in Riyad. And the American supper hero “Jamie Fox” saves the day and captures the evil Muslim guy.
This is what we need, another bad image, and another asshole Hollywood actor to save our world from us! and there is always the open minded local police man who is trying to help the good guys to kick some bad Arab asses…

What’s the story People!! Am I living in Chicago?
August 5th, 2007

What’s up Jordan! It’s been days and nights and I am still hearing the sound of police sirens all over the place. I feel like am living in Chicago city or living in a Hollywood movie. Alla yer7am Ayyam Zaman. I remember when we used to celebrate the sound of a police siren. Now it’s becoming a regular sound replacing birds’ sounds.
This is life… everything changes.
